Excellent Large Filets
I've bought these over and over again. Do some research how to sear in a cast iron pan, then finish in the oven, basting frequently...They melt in my mouth and never fail.

Disappointed
It not worth the money I am very disappointed I was givin the price of 286.65 and I paid half of it when I ordered of 143.32and after I received them I got a bill of the balance of 143.32 when the money was takin out of my account the took another 286.65 so I was charged double when I called they said I owed all that and if I had known the price had changed I would have not paid almost 600.00 for steaks I don’t have that kind of money I want be ordering anything else from y’all I don’t mind paying for what I get but I don’t want to pay double and that is what y’all did charged me double I will let people know what has happened to me if anyone ask me about your company

Great Steak
Apparently with all the poor reviews I've read on here there is a lot of people that just don't know how to season and cook Filet Mignon the 8 we had were top notch quality steaks very juicy and flavorful!!! Would happily serve these in any of my 4 Restaurants!!!

Filet
I have always loved Filet mignon. So since Outback steak has been so terrible I decided to try this. Have never had a filet with so much fat and grisly. So very disappointed. So far everything I purchased was such poor quality. Burgers ,burritos, filets, stuffed beef roast. I'm now out $400. and haven't had a descent meal yet.

average steaks
these came nicely frozen but when unthawed and cooked tasted rather gamey and hardly edible. price is also excessive - really 55 dollars a pound!

Angus Left Me Angry
I usually order the standard filet which has always been extremely tender and full of flavor. With all the hype surrounding Black Angus, I decided to give it a try. I ordered 8 10 oz. filets, and 6 out of the 8 were virtually inedible. They had a tremendous amount of chewy, impossible to cut, gristle running through much of the meat. And that, after having to trim them substantially prior to cooking. If you cut into the middle of a medium rare filet with a super sharp steak knife, and have trouble getting the knife all the way through it, that's about as low quality filet as you can get. I took more pieces out of my mouth than I injested. I purposely don't buy filets from the grocery store in order to avoid a steak like that, so it really irks me to pay a premium for a mail-order filet and get a worse steak than I can get at the supermarket. I truly hate giving a 1-star review, but this meat deserved it. I'll stick to the standard filet from now on.
