Lamb Chops and Peaches with Lime Sauce

1 can peach halves (29-oz.)
1 cup peach syrup
1/2 cup lime juice
1/2 tsp. grated lime peel
1 tsp. ground ginger
6 lamb chops
Salt/pepper

Drain peaches, reserving syrup. In small saucepan, combine syrup with lime juice, peel and ginger. Heat thoroughly. Sprinkle lamb with salt and pepper. Broil 3-4" from source of heat 5-7 minutes per side, brushing frequently with lime sauce. Broil peach halves 5 minutes, basting with lime sauce.
