Lemon Pepper Hanger Steak

Lemon Pepper Hanger Steak

Yield: 4 servings

1 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. olive oil
2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
1 Tbsp. lemon pepper
4 Tender Filet Hanger Steaks

Combine the garlic, oil, vinegar and lemon pepper to make a marinade. Place the steaks in the marinade and refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours. Grill the steaks over medium high direct heat for about 5 minutes per side for medium rare. Let the steaks rest about 5 minutes after grilling.
Chef's Note: Hanger steaks have a very pronounced grain to them, and are best served sliced. You will want to slice them against the grain in about 1/2-inch slices for maximum tenderness.
